The Mandingo Association of Atlanta chooses Mr. Bangaly Donzo as defacto President.
The MAA held their monthly meeting on Sunday, July 27th at Bandali Donzo’s residence on Peachtree Street in the city of Doraville.

Among other important issues, the Chairman of the meeting, Mr. Ansoumana Fofana suggested that something be done as to the vacant presidency that the MAA has been going through for the last few months. En effect, the president, Mr Ansoumanah Fofana (not to be confused with the above mentioned) recently relocated in the city of Philadelphia.

Mr. Musa Keita reminded the membership that the seating president was elected for one year before the new constitution which stipulates that the president of the MAA should hold office for 2 years. Our site praised the work of the present administration and suggested that it should be allowed to finish the work they started. This opinion was embraced by everybody present and adopted.

Mr Bangali Donzo, who served as Vice-President was thereby officially sworn to the Presidency of the Mandingo Association of Atlanta by Mr. Ansoumana Kromah.

Mr Baba Kourouma also gave a progress report with regard to the administration's effort to wage an aggressive public relations and information campaign to publicize the association around the world and through all media.

Such suggestions included the creation of this website and its constant update and the creation of quarterly newsletter to be distributed all over the USA.

At last but certainly not the least, was the announcement by Mr. Kourouma that the association received its official Certificate of Incorporation from the Secretary of State.
